I find am so influenced by the seasons, this painting is an expression of the merry month of May, my favourite month of the year when everything is lush and green, new growth and promise. I absolutely adore Cow Parsley, it feels dreamy and romantic billowing in the lanes and meadows around where I live. That is what I am portraying here,I have used a loosens to my brushstrokes to convey an impression of movement.
